New to shooting the M1, it fun, but I\'m confused. Trying to find the "Correct" distance at which to "Zero". At 50 yds, hitting approx. 6" high, looking at balistic chart this appears to be OK, since there is a 5.8" drop at 100yds. If 50 yds the correct zero distance?

I\'ve shot M1 Carbine matches and the standard zero is at 100 yards.
