If you know any veterans in the D.C. area, make sure they know about the NRA Range event on November 10; they’re invited to shoot for free, but space is limited, so they should contact the range ASAP to reserve a spot.
It was great to see ads during game six of the World Series last night supporting our veterans. http://www.applebees.com/vetsDay/default.aspx is offering a free entrée to all veterans and active duty servicemen and women on Veterans Day.
Also, check out the http://www.ussny.org/, set to be commissioned this weekend in the Hudson River. The bow of the ship was made of steel from the World Trade Center. I saw a report indicating that twice as many sailors than necessary volunteered to serve on the ship.
Most of all, don’t forget to thank a veteran. Our liberty exists because of them.
