In merry-olde England, everyone is a pedophile, at least according to the increasingly Big Brother-like government over there.
I’m not trying to pick on the Brits this week, there’s just so many stories that make one’s head explode coming from that once-great nation. It’s actually quite sad.

An article on a mainstream media website that is both fair, even positive toward guns and shooting AND lacks a quote from some anti-human rights wackjob. Didn’t get a chance to check out the video, but I’d imagine it’s the same. I’ve got a feeling Satan forgot to pay the heating bill this month…

I’ve seen others make the point I’m about to make, but it bears repeating. Those of us who support gun rights are passionate because we are proud of our freedoms and we really like guns. Apart from the activists, those who support limiting our liberty simply aren’t that passionate. They don’t want guns, so whether guns are legal or illegal has no day-to-day effect on them (I know it has an effect on them in terms of liberty, etc., but most people don’t think about that on a daily basis). While they may not want us to have guns either, it’s hard to get passionate about something that won’t really affect you at all. That’s not to say they wouldn’t support gun bans, but they are unlikely to spend money or time to promote the same. Every NRA member has spent at least $35 to help defend his or her rights. Everyone who reads this blog and the many popular gunblogs cares enough to keep up with gun news from product info to politics.
We care more, and we’re right.

Muwahahahahaha! I just picked up a SIG Sauer 1911 Blackwater, a full-sized 1911 with a rail and, more importantly, Blackwater’s bear paw logo on the grips and slide. Now that Blackwater changed its name to the not-nearly-as-awesome Xe, I expect this to be a wise investment. A couple of images are below. Be jealous of me. Please.
